Story Synopsis

“The stars shattered. The dragons wept. And from the ashes, the Fiend opened his eyes.”

A thousand years have passed since the kingdoms of White and Black vanished beneath fire, steel, and spells too terrible to name. The Lament of Seraph and Dragon Fetter—once desperate weapons of magic—have become cautionary myths. The land is fractured. Magic flickers. Dragons are nearly extinct. And the Black Dragon roams as a curse incarnate, reducing entire towns to ash every hundred years.

The world believes it to be a punishment—a monster of wrath. But in truth, the dragon is a guardian, seeking out and destroying a soul known only as the Soul of Blight—the cursed reincarnation of a failed vessel, born from a Wizard King's madness and Umbra's ambition.

Now, the soul is born again.

His name is Wes, a quiet, unassuming boy raised on the fringes of the world’s frontier. Hunted by dragons, haunted by dreams, and feared by those who sense the aura of ruin within him, Wes unknowingly carries the key to the sealed Door—a door that, if opened, will reawaken the ancient demons of the war-torn past.

As the age-old balance unravels, Wes is forced into a brutal, dust-covered journey across a dying world—one plagued by rogue magic, feral demons, broken machines, and survivors with twisted views of justice. Along the way, Wes must uncover the truth of his identity, survive the hunt of the Black Dragon, and confront the legacy of the Wicked Wizard King and the Fiend from whom he descends.
